How Edward met Taylor

We met for the first time back my junior year and her sophomore year of high school. I was the new kid in school and in choir class she came up to me and introduced herself to me. After that we actually became the best of friends, we’d talk every night after school on the phone, FaceTime, and texting, and on the weekends and holidays as well. We’d remain best friends even up to now, and she always talks about how she’s had a thing for me since she first saw me, and from time to time I’ll even go back and read our previous messages because she made it so obvious but I was SO oblivious. I even dated a girl my senior year of high school and she was completely supportive of it and never even said anything rude or mean about it even though she wished it was her.

We went to all of our proms together; not as partners but as friends. All school trips we would sit next to each other on the bus, we’d always go to breakfast every morning together, we’d always eat lunch with each other when we had the same lunch. We’d basically do everything together.

After I graduated we both admitted to each other about our feelings toward each other, but we ended up pursuing other people for the time so we can figure out if things were right, but we would still talk all the time like we had previously, it was only a year after when we finally decided to try us out.

Now here we are 2 years later, engaged, with a son who is about to turn 8 months old and living happier together than ever. We’ve gone through a lot together, she battled her addiction and has been clean for a year and a half now and she has managed her mental health very well. I’ve started my career, we are in our own place, and we are planning our wedding for some time that we’re not sure when it’ll be because of the virus, and we’re also planning for a second child very soon as well.
